I’m Jennifer, the mom behind Attach The Baby. I started out by making my own baby wrap when my son was just a few months old. I had a commercial one, but it wasn’t comfortable at all. When I decided to give in and get a sling, all I could find locally were the bulky padded ones that looked like they were made out of grandma’s bedding - they weren’t cute at all! My search online provided me with either more unstylish wraps and carriers, or those beyond my price range. I wanted to wear my baby, I just also wanted to maintain my style for a reasonable price. After I made my own, I kept getting stopped by other mothers asking me where I got mine. It only seemed to make sense to start making them for other people too. Attach The Baby was born!
Soon after I started the business, I started paying attention to the online communities to see what else mom’s would like. Stylish nursing necklaces seemed to be in big demand. Why would any hip mom want to wear plastic pony beads outside the house? I started expanding to necklaces, blankets, and custom orders in no time!
Attachment parenting is something I wholly believe in and everyone should have the opportunity to practice it with stye and comfort affordably.
